How to care for your clothes

Caring for your clothes starts with the care label. Check the fiber content and instructions before washing, ironing, or treating stains.

Wash only when needed. Air garments between wears and spot-clean small marks to reduce friction, fading, and unnecessary stress on the fabric.

Use cool water, a gentle cycle, and a mild detergent. Turn dark or printed pieces inside out, close fastenings, and wash similar colors together.

Avoid overloading the machine. Give garments room to move, and use a mesh bag for delicate knits, trims, or pieces that may snag.

Air-dry whenever possible. Reshape knitwear while damp and lay it flat; hang woven garments on supportive hangers away from direct heat or sunlight.

Store every piece clean and completely dry. Fold heavy knitwear, give tailored clothing space to breathe, and address stains or repairs before they settle.
